
Gift Voucher FAQs
Hooray! You can now purchase gift vouchers for a family member of friend in our online store. We can automatically email or post out your gift wrapped Gift Voucher which will be valid to use in our Berry Shop or our Online Store.
Can I use my gift voucher in your online store?
YES! Vouchers that are issued either online OR in-store with a six digit voucher code are able to be used online. Just shop as normal adding items or classes to your cart. Then when you are ready to check out, view your cart and add your voucher code where indicated and press REDEEM. Lastly, follow the remainder of the prompts to checkout and complete your purchase.
Can I use my gift voucher in your Berry store?
YES! Vouchers that are issued either in-store OR online are able to be used for any purchases in-store including classes. You will need to present your voucher at the time of purchase.
I’ve heard that I should ‘Register’ my Gift Voucher with you? Is that right?
YES! Sometimes vouchers are given or awarded without us knowing who the recipient is. Registering means we can more easily find your voucher details and $ balance if it happens to be lost. It will also enable us to send you special offers that are only available to voucher holders. If you have come to the website to shop with your voucher right now and you complete a purchase while here, there is no need to register the voucher. The shopping cart process will record your details including your phone number and save any balance you may have left on your voucher.
If my voucher was sent to me online do I still need to register it?
If your voucher was purchased for you online, automatically generated by our website and emailed to you with your name on it, we may still need your phone contact details, so please contact us to register them.
How do I register my Gift Voucher?
We just need to match up your name, phone number and email contact details with your unique voucher number. You can do this by phoning the store on (02) 4464 3387 OR via the contact form which you will find on the Visit & Contact page on this website. When there, enter your contact details in the spaces indicated and in the message box say: “Hi There, I’d like to register my voucher code XXXXXX with the name and contact details I’ve entered here.”
What and where is my ‘Voucher Code’?
Your Voucher Code is a six digit code made up of randomly generated numbers and letters. This code is unique to your voucher. You will find it at the top right hand side of your voucher near the expiry date. This code is what we use to check your voucher validity and balance. If you have a voucher that was issued prior to our online store launch without one of these codes please contact us to redeem it or have it replaced with a new voucher.
Can I use my gift voucher more than once?
YES! You may use your voucher as many times as it takes to use up your balance. For example: If your purchase online is for $50 and your voucher is for $150. You will be able to complete the $50 purchase and still have a $100 balance left on your voucher.
Can I pay part voucher and part credit or cash?
YES! If your purchase in store or online is a larger amount than your voucher, you are able to pay using your voucher and you can settle the remaining balance of your purchase by another method during the checkout process.
How long is my Gift Voucher Valid?
Current consumer law states that gift vouchers have to remain valid for three years from date of purchase. The expiry date is listed on your Gift Voucher in the top right hand corner.
What do I do if I haven’t kept track of the balance of my voucher?
DON’T WORRY! Our system keeps a record of any purchases made using your voucher. Just email or phone us with your voucher code and we will be able to tell you how much you have left to spend.
Help! I’ve lost my voucher what should I do?
DON’T WORRY! If you have registered the voucher and it still has a usable balance we can replace it. If you haven’t registered it, tell us who gave you the voucher, the amount and the date it was purchased or given, we will do our best to look it up and have it re issued. Please allow a week to have a lost voucher re-issued.
Can I cash my voucher in?
No. Gift vouchers are not able to be transferred to cash.
May I get change in cash if I partially use my voucher?
No. But your voucher remains valid until its expiry date or until fully redeemed; whichever comes first. We are happy for it to take two or three trips to fully redeem your voucher if you have been given a large generous gift.
