Anything Goes Evenings 2021

Anything goes in evenings with Lisa. You can learn the basics and make a baby quilt, start a hexagon quilt, indulge in some embroidery, bring along a dress pattern or even do some crochet or knitting. After hours is sometimes the only time we can spare to be creative and this two hour window once a fortnight is a good chance.

Lisa is a local prize winning textile artist and quilter known for her innovative ideas and exquisite stitching and broad knowledge of dressmaking, patchwork, quilting, needlework, knitting, crochet and ability to turn her hand at anything. She was the craft editor for Better Homes & Gardens and a founding editor of Country Craft Magazine and is also a trained secondary school Design & Technology teacher. She is the perfect teacher for our evening groups where you can try your had at anything listed above with support and instruction. Many start a project then just enjoy coming along to work on it with support and company fortnightly each term.  

Our evening group is perfect for people who are wanting to do something productive in a group environment! Come along and be inspired by others and Lisa. Work as fast or slow as you like on the project of your choice. Lisa will make tea and coffee while you stitch.

Currently our only group is on odd weeks of each School Term. We are open to a second Thursday fortnightly group which would meet on even weeks of each term but as yet in 2021, we have not had the minimum of six sign up.  So approach us if you’re interested we will try each term to start it up. Maybe find some crafty buddies to come along with you one term? 

Term fees are $85 for a five week term. The term fee is payable regardless of the number of sessions you are able to attend. Classes are two hours each and capped at eight participants., Please phone us to book 4464 3387.
